NIGHTINGALE Participates in foresight and key enabling technologies workshop in Brussels
On 5 March, the NIGHTINGALE Project was showcased at the Community for European Research and Innovation for Security (CERIS) Foresight and Key Enabling Technologies Workshop by our Project Coordinator I-SENSE Institute of Communication and Computer System (ICCS).
Led by Eleftherios Ouzounoglou, the NIGHTINGALE presentation highlighted the crucial role of NIGHTINGALE in managing mass casualty incidents after a disaster. The presentation also included a live demonstration of the NIGHTINGALE triage system, showcasing its deployment in mass casualty incidents.
Eleftherios also contributed to the panel discussion on Challenges and Opportunities for Key Enabling Technologies.
The workshop in Brussels brought together over 100 stakeholders together to delve into shaping a more detailed foresight approach to civil security, linked to key enabling technologies. The event facilitated collaboration among various sectors, and encouraged insightful discussions and the sharing of knowledge.
