NIGHTINGALE attends Security research event in Brussels

NIGHTINGALE is delighted to be participating in the Security Research Event in Brussels on Tuesday, 24th and Wednesday, 25th of October. The event is hosted by the European Commission in collaboration with the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union and Sweden.

This annual event is a key gathering for security researchers, policymakers, and innovators from across the globe, and this year, NIGHTINGALE is thrilled to be a part of it.

One of the most exciting aspects of SRE 2023 is the exhibition that brings together research and innovation projects funded by European Commission’s programmes, organisations, and initiatives that are driving innovation in various fields, including security research. NIGHTINGALE will have its own booth at the exhibition, where attendees can immerse themselves in the world of disaster resilient technologies and learn more about our work and proposed technological solutions to advance pre-hospital life support and triage.

NIGHTINGALE will be in the company of two other projects within the Responder Technology Cluster – INTREPID and RESCUER.

SRE 2023 Conference

The SRE 2023 Conference is the focal point of this event. It is where leading experts, thought leaders, and policymakers come together to discuss the future of security research. The event kicks off with captivating Opening Keynote Speeches and a High-Level Round Table discussion, setting the stage for the entire conference. These sessions will not only establish the policy context but also offer valuable insights that will shape the thematic panels of the event.

We are particularly looking forward to Thematic Panel 3 – Natural, accidental and intentional disasters of the future: are we prepared? that takes place on the 25th of October.
