NIGHTINGALE participates in the INTREPID final event
INTREPID (INtelligent Toolkit for Reconnaissance and assessmEnt in Perilous InciDents) is organising a final event of the three-year project, which has focused on addressing the challenges that first responders face when they arrive at the scene of a hazardous incident. INTREPID has researched and developed a platform, drones, and drones that can improve and assist first responders in the 3D exploration and analysis of disaster areas.
NIGHTINGALE has been collaborating with INTREPID as part of the Responder Technology Cluster. We are delighted to contribute to the final event on the aspect of standardisation in the field of disaster-resilient technologies. Dr Spyros Athanasiadis (I-SENSE/ICCS) represents the NIGHTINGALE project during the event. He is contributing to the panel discussion on standardisation.
